A balcony revamp project on an exposed, urban site.
With a highly exposed, west facing apartment balcony, this client required a planting plan and maintenance instructions. His favourite colour is red and he has a love of proteas so we integrated these features subtly into the design to ensure they weren’t too overbearing. It was critical in the plant selection for this project to ensure all species were incredibly hardy against sun and wind exposure. We also provided planter box and potting mix specifications to meet load bearing limitations of the balcony.
